The General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR requires organisations to facilitate added rights for their users or data subjects. These rights include the right to access, right to rectification, right to give an withdraw consent to each piece of data, the right to erasure, the right to know the categories and purpose of that data, the right to be informed of the recipients both internally and externally of their data and the right to portability of that data. This is made evenmore complex by the IT ecosystems within an organisation, where multiple data sources now exist. At Dataships we have created a software toolkit that brings these data sources together. Making it simple for an organisation to adhere to GDPR. Built around this is our training documents, template documents and expertise advise.
Similar to GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) adds new rights for California residents meaning there is added responsibilities on organisations conducting business within California. Dataships has put together a toolkit that takes the time, effort and worry out of these responsibilities, meaning that organisations can concentrate on their day to day business while we take care of data privacy.
