Sculpted by Aimee

"By partnering with Dataships I can rest assured knowing that our marketing efforts are completed in a compliant manner which keeps our customers and their data privacy rights at the forefront." - Aimee Connolly, Founder

As one of Ireland’s top makeup artists & creator of the award-winning makeup brand Sculpted by Aimee Connolly, Aimee recognizes the importance of her customers’ data and their privacy.

Objectives

When the pandemic hit in 2020 Aimee Connolly had to shift in-store sales and makeup masterclasses online, making her customers’ data privacy paramount to her success. As their Shopify store grew and online sales become a key part of their business the team at Sculpted wanted to make sure they were doing everything they could with the data they were collecting in their online store. This is what prompted Aimee and the team to engage with Dataships and put in place an optimized consent management tool.

Solution

The Sculpted by Aimee team engaged with Dataships to solve their concerns around the usability of the data they had been collecting on their Shopify store. Working closely with Dataships, the Sculpted team were able to implement an optimized consent management tool at their checkout, more than tripling their marketable acceptance rate. This meant they saw an average acceptance rate at their checkout grow from 31% to 81%.

How? By removing Shopify’s one-size fits all approach and instead using Dataships optimized consent collection tool:
